(CANVAS STAFF REPORTS) - The real-life inspiration for Sandra Bullock's character in the movie "The Blind Side" had a chance to meet Bullock's adopted child.
Leigh Anne Tuohy is quoted in People magazine as saying it was love at first sight.
"She said, ‘Here he is, what do you think? You better like him,' and I could eat him with a spoon,"she said in an interview with " Access Hollywood ."
"He's the most beautiful little baby. I just had lunch with them Saturday. He's got eyes that have wisdom … I could just stare at him all day."
"The Blind Side" is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless boy who became an All-American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of Tuohy and her family. Oher is now a professional football player for the Baltimore Ravens.
Bullock won a Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Tuohy.
She said she was grateful that Bullock "wanted to take the part of Leigh Anne Tuohy and make it authentic."
"She wore my makeup, my nail polish," she said on " Access Hollywood ."
" It has turned our lives upside down, in a good way. It has given us a platform to talk about the Michael Ohers of the world."
While the news has been covering Bullock's pending divorce from husband Jesse James, accused of cheating on her, Tuohy said she didn't really get a chance to help Bullock.
"I need her more than she needs me," she said on "Access Hollywood."
"She tends to be a sounding board for me. She is one lady that exudes character and integrity."
