(MyFOX NATIONAL) - Since a 7.0 earthquake devastated Haiti last week, numerous stars have been urging people to donate to the relief effort.

But according to Access Hollywood, former View co-host Rosie O'Donnell is challenging more celebrities to dig into their own pockets.

“It’s like, if you’re gonna go on and you’re a millionaire, please give a million dollars. Like, there should be a cover charge to do those, in my opinion,” said the Sirius XM radio host about A-listers on telethons.

So far, an USmagazine.com reports, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were first to donate $1 million to Doctors Without Borders.

The global advocacy group Not On Our Watch – founded by Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and producer Jerry Weintraub – pledged another $1 million.

Supermodel mom Gisele Bundchen – who earned a whopping $35 million in 2009 – dug deep, contributing $1.5 million of her own money to the Red Cross, according to The Boston Globe.

On the Golden Globe Awards red carpet Sunday, Sandra Bullock revealed her million-dollar contribution to Doctors Without Borders: “I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event.”

Writing a check for $250,000 to the Red Cross, Madonna said in a statement: "My prayers are with the people of Haiti. I can't imagine the terrible pain and suffering they are experiencing. Sadly the depths of the tragedy are just becoming known and the need for our support grows more urgent with every passing moment."

Lance Armstrong's LiveStrong Foundation also gave $250,000 to Doctors Without Borders and Partners in Health.

Actor Tyler Perry gave $250,000 and actress Alyssa Milano donated $50,000 to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, urging U.S. corporations to match her donation.
