Lakers' Artest lends support to Tiger
Lakers forward Ron Artest gave Tiger Woods his support Tuesday, explaining in a blog post that he has made similar mistakes as the superstar golfer.
In a post Tuesday, Artest said, "I can tell you're a standup guy" while acknowledging his own infidelities. He wrote about having a baby with another woman after having two with his girlfriend, now his wife. Artest also called Woods "the perfect role model for me and my sons for longer than anyone I have known."

Doctor who treated Woods under investigation
The doctor who treated Tiger Woods after his knee surgery earlier this year is now under investigation for handing out performance-enhancing drugs. Canadian doctor Anthony Galea is accused of passing out a human growth hormone and other supplements to high-profile athletes.
In October, customs agents stopped Galea along the US-Canadian border with the drugs in his bags. The Federal Bureau of Investigations has launched a probe.
Galea said he didn't do anything wrong and on Tuesday, his attorney responded to questions about his client's connection with Tiger Woods.
"I really don't have the specifics, but I was going to say if you're here to ask about Tiger Woods, that's not the story today, and that's not really the story of Dr. Galea," said Brian H. Greenspan. "Tiger Woods happened to be a patient who he assisted in his rehabilitation program after his surgery, and apparently, according to all reports, he was very successful in assisting Tiger Woods to return to golf earlier than was anticipated."
